New StakJak
MFC Survival have just completed a substantial investment in a range of new manufacturing equipment for the StakJak and Powermat high pressure lifting bags, allowing us to transfer production of these products to our South Wales factory. This equipment will also greatly increase the production capacity for high pressure lifting bags.

As part of this program the StakJak (our stackable range of high pressure lifting mats) has undergone a complete redesign to improve its performance and ease of use. The mats are now lighter and thinner than previous models, carrying handles have been added and there are high contrast markers on the corners to aid with positioning in low light.

A sticky situation at West Midlands automaker
The paint shop at a well know West Midlands car plant had problem; they were finding that their sprayers boots were sticking to the metal grid floor when they were applying water soluble base coat to vehicles. They had already Teflon coated the grid floor to try and reduce sticking, but this hadn’t solved the problem. They approached Liscombs for a recommendation and they then spoke to us to see what we could offer. After a site visit and testing of the base coat we established that our new lightweight Cryolite boot could provide a solution.

The Cryolite boots’ PVC free formulation ensures that the base coat doesn’t stick to the sole, now the sprayers keep the soles of the boots wet by walking through a water trough periodically, which stops the base coat becoming tacky and removes any excess buildup of the base coat, any that does dry onto the boots can easily be peeled off, and the sprays can walk without fear of sticking.
