COVID-19 Update from Respirex

Amid the developing COVID-19 coronavirus situation, we wanted to take the time to reassure our customers of the actions we are taking both to meet your needs and protect the welfare of our team at Respirex.

We have planned how we will operate our business with the minimum of disruption while ensuring our business practices are aligned with government recommendations to help to control the spread of COVID-19. While advice is changing on a daily basis we will continue to update our plans accordingly. For the time being, our offices and factories are fully operational and we have everything in place to ensure our sales and support staff can continue to work from home. Our factories have sufficient stock to manufacture existing orders and currently disruption to production is minimal. We are constantly monitoring the situation and will communicate if circumstances change and we will provide full updates on our website, social media and through email.

All of our staff have been provided with clear information on the virus and methods of control. We have equipped our facilities with several hand sanitising stations and are undertaking additional cleaning procedures. We have advised any employee suffering from the recognised symptoms of the corona virus infection to not come into work and stay home.

Our Servicetech servicing and maintenance team are currently still conducting customer visits, but we have asked our engineers to refrain from shaking hands, minimise contact with surfaces and wash/sanitise hands regularly. If an engineer cannot make an appointment, we will contact you as soon as possible to discuss alternate arrangements.

We understand this is a challenging time for everyone and we are thinking about all our customers and suppliers at this time. If you need to update us on any operational changes within your business that may affect your dealings with us, please email info@respirex.co.uk or contact your Sales Manager.

We have put together a blog post with some recommendations on Coronavirus and the effective sanitisation of Respirex reusable garments, to help customers with any queries they may have. You can read the article here
